Sunday puzzle mania:
Here is the map marking everywhere Tom's grandparents have traveled. It's pretty awesome.
So today I went for my first day of an agricultural internship. Turns out the location is way further than I had expected (try not even on a map!) so the internship has instead turned into me volunteering a few times a month. Plus, my car really can't handle off-roading up a mountain to get there.
Paul, the owner, might just be the smartest person I have ever met. He knows anything and everything about nature and would randomly pull plants (that I would normally view as weeds) up off the ground telling me to taste them. Who knew the world was a giant salad mix?
Here is the view on the way:
The Center has raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, peaches, cherries, apples, wild onions, a trout pond, a greenhouse, tons of trails, and a waterfall and clearing at the top of the mountain
My big bowl of raspberries collected from the day:
My wild cherries:
On top of all of the tasty treats I had picked, Paul gave me about a dozen bananas along with tons of lettuce and a few edible plants for my garden.
Once I got home, I made epic amounts of banana bread.
These are from the front yard:
All of my seeds are sprouting!
A new member of the garden:
