Belt Phase 2

Here's an unfinished belt. Here's what I have to do by Thursday to get it halfway done: Soak my raffia in the bathtub to straighten out, wait for that to dry, make many more tassels out of it. Hot glue those in between what I already have on there, sew on lots of velcro at the front, and then secure each tassel by sewing them onto the belt with dental floss putting a bead in the middle of the tassel to make the straw poof out.

What a project! Can't wait to see it all done! It'll be great to have my own costume instead of borrowing like I did back in Florida. The borrowed costumes never fit, leaving me a constant victim of wardrobe malfunctions at shows and events :(
